Websites & Ecommerce · 6 sites in production

Websites that sell Under a second to load. Built to be found. Orders that book themselves.

We build websites and online stores the way we build our own: hand-coded, measured at Lighthouse 100, structured for Google in every language you sell in — and wired into Iskrex Books, so each order becomes an invoice, a stock movement and a ledger entry without anyone touching a keyboard. No page builders, no plugin roulette. Engineering.

The process

From idea to a store that sells

One team from the first sketch to the first order — and long after. You always know which step your project is in.

  1. 01

    Listen & plan

We map what the site must do: who buys, what they search for, and what has to happen after they click “order”.

  2. 02

    Design that fits you

A custom design system in your brand — not a template with your logo swapped in.

  3. 03

    Hand-coded build

Clean HTML, CSS and exactly as much JavaScript as needed. That's why it's fast — and stays fast.

  4. 04

    SEO from the first line

Semantic markup, structured data and hreflang for every language — Google understands the site before it's even live.

  5. 05

    The automation hookup

Store events flow into Iskrex Books: invoices, stock and bookkeeping — hands-free.

  6. 06

    Launch & measure

Lighthouse, Search Console and real-user metrics — we ship with numbers, not feelings.

  7. 07

    We keep it fast

Updates, monitoring, backups and tuning. A website is a machine — we maintain it.

What every build gets

Fast. Found. Self-accounting.

Five things we refuse to compromise on — because they're the difference between a site that exists and a site that earns.

Under a second — measured, not promised

Most template sites ship 5–10 MB of page-builder scaffolding. We ship hand-written code — this very website is ~3 MB without images. Our builds render in under a second on an average connection, and every shaved millisecond measurably lifts conversion.

  • Lighthouse 100 / 100 / 100 / 100 on our own store
  • Static-first pages — a server can't be slow when there's nothing to compute
  • Modern image formats, lazy-loaded, sized to the pixel

Built to be found — in every language you sell in

Buying still starts with a search. Every page ships with semantic markup, JSON-LD structured data and correct hreflang pairs, so Google shows the right language to the right customer — our own sites rank in English, German and Slovenian from a single build.

  • Structured data: products, prices, stock, reviews, breadcrumbs
  • hreflang and per-language sitemaps — SL / EN / DE from one build
  • Clean URLs, fast pages, zero render-blocking junk — the ranking trifecta

A store that carries the whole job — catalog to payment

Catalog, variants, B2B net prices, carts, coupons, card and SEPA payments, delivery rates, customer accounts — the machinery of selling, built around your process instead of fought against in a plugin's settings page.

  • Payments: cards, SEPA, invoice — with 3-D Secure
  • Live stock — overselling is structurally impossible
  • B2B built in: net prices, company accounts, quote requests
The Iskrex difference

The store does its own paperwork

This is where our sites stop being “just websites”. Every order flows straight into Iskrex Books: the invoice writes itself, stock moves, the ledger updates and your phone pings — before you've even read the order email. Webshop revenue, zero back-office growth.

  • Order → invoice → posting: automatic, in seconds
  • Stock synced both ways — shop and warehouse always agree
  • Telegram ping with the numbers that matter

Designed for the person on the other side

Responsive from a 4-inch phone to a 4K display, usable with a keyboard and a screen reader, honest interactions with no dark patterns. Design isn't decoration — it's the reason a visitor trusts you enough to pay.

  • Every breakpoint hand-checked — 390 px to 4K
  • Accessibility as a feature: contrast, focus states, alt text
  • Micro-interactions that respect prefers-reduced-motion

The difference

A template site vs. an Iskrex build

A typical template site

  • 5–10 MB of page-builder scaffolding — 4–8 s first load on mobile
  • SEO bolted on afterwards with a plugin and hope
  • Every order retyped by hand into the accounting program
  • 30 plugins to update — one of them breaks checkout on a Friday
  • Gets a little slower and messier every year

An Iskrex build

  • Hand-written code, ~3 MB without images — renders in under a second
  • Semantic HTML, structured data and hreflang from the first commit
  • Orders become invoices, stock moves and postings — automatically
  • No plugins to babysit — one owner for code, server and updates
  • Monitored, backed up and tuned — it stays fast

Frequently asked questions

How long does a website or store take?

A focused marketing site: 1–2 weeks. A full store with payments, stock and the accounting hookup: usually 3–6 weeks. You get a concrete timeline with the quote — and we hit it, because we build with parts we've already shipped many times.

How much does it cost?

Less than an agency, more than a template — and it earns the difference back in speed, rankings and saved office hours. Every project is priced per scope after a short call: you'll have a fixed quote within days, not a rate card and a shrug.

Do you host and maintain it?

Yes. Most clients run on our managed setup: server, SSL, backups, monitoring and updates included. Prefer your own infrastructure? We deploy there and hand over clean documentation.

Can I edit content myself?

Yes — products, prices, stock and content are editable through an admin made for humans. And for anything you'd rather not touch, we're one message away.

Can you migrate my existing site or store?

Yes. Products, customers, order history and — critically — your Google rankings: every old URL gets a 301 redirect to its new home, so the traffic you've earned comes with you.

Does it really connect to my accounting?

If you run Iskrex Books — natively, from order to posting. If you don't, we build the bridge: API, CSV/XML exchange or a custom export your accountant will actually accept.

Let's build the site that sells for you.

Send us what you have — a sketch, an old site, a competitor you envy — and you'll get back a plan, a timeline and a fixed quote. Then we build it, launch it and keep it fast.
